Stat. §77-1633\, The Property Tax Request Act\, a representative from Logan County will be conducting a Public Hearing on Tuesday\, September 16\, 2025\, at 6:00 PM.  This meeting will be held in the courtroom at the Logan County Courthouse\, and will be open to the public.  Logan County\, (308)636-2311\, will be the only political subdivision participating in this hearing.  Logan County’s 2025-2026 actual property tax request is $1\,251\,275.20.  The prior year property tax request was $1\,180\,797.67.  There is no item on the agenda for this public hearing other than discussion of the political subdivision’s intent to increase its property tax request by a percentage greater than the “allowable growth percentage” defined in §77-1633. \nJennifer Nicholson \nLogan County Clerk \nAgenda – Joint Public Hearing
