JOINT PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of the Neb. Rev. Stat. §77-1633, The Property Tax Request Act, a representative from Logan County will be conducting a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 6:00 PM.  This meeting will be held in the courtroom at the Logan County Courthouse, and will be open to the public.  Logan County, (308)636-2311, will be the only political subdivision participating in this hearing.  Logan County’s 2025-2026 actual property tax request is $1,251,275.20.  The prior year property tax request was $1,180,797.67.  There is no item on the agenda for this public hearing other than discussion of the political subdivision’s intent to increase its property tax request by a percentage greater than the “allowable growth percentage” defined in §77-1633.
