JOINT PUBLIC HEARING

 Notice of Joint Public Hearing on Proposed Property Tax Increases

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of the Neb. Rev. Stat. §77-1633, that a representative of the following political subdivision will meet on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.  at the Logan County Courthouse in the Courtroom, 317 Main Street, Stapleton, for the purpose of conducting a joint public hearing to obtain pubic input on property tax increases proposed by Logan County, 308.636.2311.  Logan County’s 2026-2027 actual property tax request is $1,319,698.78.  There is no item on the agenda for this public hearing other than discussion of the political subdivision’s intent to increase its property tax request by a percentage greater than the “allowable growth percentage” defined in §77-1633.
